Important Update! Please Read!
Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying the Summer. Nick and I sure aren't! Portland is in the middle of what seems like a never-ending heatwave, and we've been miserable! Still, thanks to the magic of air conditioning and working all night we've managed to get a lot done. In this update we'll be covering the Backerkit launch, the new Freelancer Job Guide and our shipping date!
Backerkit: We launched our Backerkit this afternoon. You should receive an email from Backerkit with all the information you need. If you didn't receive an email, please make sure you're using the same email you used for Kickstarter. Also, check your spam folder!
First, we'd like you to confirm your order in Backerkit. Make sure the items listed are what you're expecting to get. Second, confirm your shipping address. Make sure we're going to be sending your stuff to the right address. If you plan on moving before October, please give us a safe address to ship to!
Next, take a look at shipping costs. The listed shipping cost is an estimate. Shipping costs may change slightly before we ship. We may end up charging you slightly more, or we may be able to save you a bit. We'll confirm shipping costs before we lock orders. Take a look at this cost and let us know if it seems off to you! Especially if you live outside the US. We may be able to find you a better price depending on where you live and what you ordered.
You also have a chance to add extra items to your pledge, so feel free to add on an expansion you missed or upgrade your book to a box set! Remember, we added several items very late in the Kickstarter, like the Fight School and Magical Academy expansions and the Loot Deck. Don't miss out on these!
The Backerkit will be open for you to adjust until the beginning of September. We will be locking orders at that time so we can prepare for shipping. Around the middle of September we'll be posting final shipping costs, and then charging you for shipping and any add-ons you made through Backerkit. Don't worry, we'll give you plenty of notice before we lock orders and charge cards!

Shipping Date! Our printer has let us know that our books will be arriving in late September. Theres always a chance they could be late, but we think this date is pretty likely. Our plan is to start shipping that week, and continue shipping through early October. Our hope is that all your packages will be in the mail my October 15th!
Freelancer Job Guide: As part of this Kickstarter we're refreshing all of our old expansions, and releasing several new ones. Today we released the Freelancer Job Guide, a brand new 32 page expansion. If the Freelancer Job Guide was part of your Kickstarter rewards, you can download it right now! By the time you read this you should have an email from DrivethruRPG with a complimentary copy of the book! Go ahead and download it now and check out all the new cool stuff for Freelancers to use in your game,. Plus some great new lore and art!
You'll also be able to download the Freelancer Job Guide (along with everything else) from Backerkit after we lock orders and charge your cards in late September. And we'll be sending you full Dropbox download links at the same time.
Right now we think that we'll be releasing most of our new and refreshed PDFs in September. if we end up finishing some of them before that, we'll get them to you early!
What else? Nick has been working hard on refreshing our older expansions, like the other Job Guides, Magical Index, Quest and more. Each of these is receiving some editing and layout changes, some adjustments to fit with the new 2nd Edition rulebook and a little fine tuning. If you have older versions of these books, they'll still work just fine. There will be a few differences, but those will be obvious and easy to spot. It was important to use that you'd still be able to use your collection of Yeld expansions that you invested in. We don't like invalidating anyone's collection. We'll be releasing a small list of changes for each expansion.
We're also hard at work on the new expansions. I'm plowing through Elves of Yeld while Nick works on Magical Academy. We'll turn our attention to Fight School after those are complete. We should have stuff to share about thise books next month.
Last, but not least: Please make sure to check out the Yeld Patreon. Each month we offer new original Yeld content for our Patrons. Last month we revised our Patreon to start offering a bunch of new stuff, including monthly short stories, miniatures and more behind-the-scenes stuff! The Yeld Patreon has years worth of content for you to discover! Its also a great way to support the work of our team.
