Okay, here's the cool new thing we're going to release for free!
Trade Jobs are a brand new type of Job for Yeld. They're not Heroic Jobs, but the kind of weird and interesting Jobs that the normal people of Yeld have. We've come up with 4 new Trade Jobs, and we'll let you vote on which ones you want to see for free this month! The most popular will be released as a free mini expansion for everyone. The second most popular will be released as new content for Yeld Patreon and Kickstarter backers this month! You can vote for your favorite on the Yeld Discord (or just tell us right here).
The new Trade Jobs are:
Mercenary Maid: “My services include cleaning clocks and taking out the trash.” Mercenary Maids are brawling caretakers that sell their services to the highest bidder!
Deep Fisher: “Opportunity lay just below the surface for those who have the patience to wait for it.” Deep Fishers hunt the most notorious and dangerous fish on behalf of the Deep!
Dentist: “A tooth a day keeps the Dentists at bay." Dentists use skills learned from Toothfacers to harvest teeth. They can use their own teeth to cast Math Magic!
Goat Squire: “Being liked by a Goat is better than being liked by your own parents." When a goat chooses you to be their squire, you don't say no!
Each Trade Job will include a full Job profile, new background, Special dice, art and more!

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you have a great end of the year and were able to spend time with the people you care about. Nick and I the holidays with our family and managed to grab a few days off. Although are holidays with your family every really relaxing?
Well, we're back to work and we have some updates for you. Here's the basics:
- About 2/3rds of Kickstarter packages are out the door!
- Printing for expansions is still delayed. We're hoping for February.
- All Digital content should be ready to deliver by the end of this month!
- Turns out shipping is even more expensive than we thought.
- Magical Academy and Fight School are delayed.
Let me go into more detail:
Packages out the door: We've shipped about 2/3rds of our total physical rewards. This includes every Core Rulebook Pledge and every Box Set Pledge. There are a few exceptions. 1st, there's a few of you who either haven't given us your address, or haven't paid for shipping. We've tried to reach out to you, and we'll keep trying. There are also a few pledges that includes one or 2 expansions. These have not shipped yet, because...
Expansions are still delayed: As I mentioned in our last 2 updates, the printer who is handling our expansions is suffering some significant delays. Right now we think that we'll probably get our expansions sometime next month. We are ready to ship all orders that include expansions as soon as we have them.
I know a lot of you pledged for rewards that include expansions, and you're probably disappointed that they're not ready to go yet. We are too. Here's what we can do. If you'd like us to ship the part of your pledge that we have right now, we can do that.* So if you pledged for the Yeld Box Set AND the Expansion Box (for example), we can ship you the Yeld Box Set now, and the Expansion Box when we have it. We won't charge you extra for this. To be clear, if you don't mind waiting so we can ship everything together, we'd appreciate it. Shipping isn't cheap. But if you're tired of waiting, we get it. Please send us a message if you'd like us to ship your non-expansion rewards now.
*Unfortunately, we just can't offer to split orders like this for international customers. Shipping is so expansive right now. We appreciate your patience and we'll get your full order to you as fast as we can.
Speaking of expensive shipping: Thanks to holiday shipping price increases, shipping for this project has been significantly more than we hoped. So much higher. I'm honestly astounded. We are not planning to charge you any more for shipping. We're just going to eat this extra cost. I know absolutely no one has been happy about shipping costs for this project. This has been very frustrating for all of us. We will absolutely have to figure out another solution for the future.
Digital Content: We've been pretty busy, so finishing up digital content has unfortunately been on the backburner since November. But we're making it a priority this month, and we expect all digital rewards to be available for download around the end of this month. These will be available through DrivethruRPG, Backerkit, itch.io, and as Dropbox links right here in your Kickstarter messages. This will include the Core Rulebook, all expansions, the Modest Medusa Library, both card decks and more. We'll have another update for you as soon as these are available.
Fight School and Magical Academy: These two expansions are delayed. I think I mentioned before that this project ended up being so much larger than we anticipated. We started work on these two expansions last Summer, but had to put them aside to focus on other work. We were rushing to complete them, but we're not very happy with how they're turning out. These are currently not up to our standards, and honestly there's stuff Nick and I want to do with both of these expansions which we just have not had time for yet. So we've decided we're going to delay both of these. Our plan is to focus on both after we get the digital content out to you. We're not exactly sure when these will be released, but it will be sometime this Spring. If you ordered physical copies we will mail them to you separately at no extra cost to you. I'm sorry for the delay, but I think it will be worth the wait.

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a nice Holiday weekend (or just a nice weekend, for those of you who live outside the USA). We don't have a big update for you today, but I wanted to let you know what was going on and what our schedule is looking like.
Physical Rewards: We've begun shipping rewards. Unfortunately, Nick and I have both been a little sick and we've both been out of town for a string of conventions the last 4 weeks (in fact, we're on our way to another one this evening), so this has been going a little slow. We're hoping to pick up the pace next week. So far we've just been shipping orders that include only the Yeld: 2nd Edition book.
We are expecting our Action Board and Card Decks to arrive from the printer early next month (the GM Screens and maps are already here), and once they have we'll immediately start shipping rewards that include those. This is primarily the 2nd Edition Box set.
Unfortunately, we've learned that the printer that is handling our expansions has met with another delay. We currently do not have a delivery date for any expansions. We're hoping those will arrive in December. Whenever they do arrive, we're ready to box them up and ship them to you. This does mean that if your order included expansions, it may be delayed beyond December. Obviously that's not what we wanted. Depending on what we hear from the printer this month we may decide to split domestic orders and send some of it to you now, and the expansions when they are ready. That's an expensive option for us, but it may be the best course of action. We'll let you know what we decide next month when we (hopefully) have more info from the printer.
Digital Content: Our current plan is to have all Yeld digital content available for download by the middle of December. We're taking our time to make sure everything is properly updated. We'll do a big update about that.

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a nice Fall. We're getting close to Halloween, and we have some fun stuff for you this week! In this update we'll be talking about the Yeld Coloring Book, Halloween Cat and our new GM Screen!
Our new Game Master Screen is finished and on the way from the printer! We think it looks really great! The GM Screen is included in every Box Set, and was available as an add on. I think most of you will be receiving one. I think you'll like it! If you missed out, it will be available for sale before the end of the year!
One of our stretch goals was a new Yeld Coloring Book. Well, its finally here! Check your messages for a link to download this PDF right now! This coloring book PDF includes 130 high resolution black and white images that you can print and color (or import into your favorite art program). The PDF includes art from the 2nd Edition book as well as several expansions and other Yeld products, and even a few unpublished illustrations. There may be some art here you've never seen before!
We promised our Patreon backers who supported this Kickstarter something special, and here it is just in time for Halloween! The Halloween Cat PDF contains rules for adding everyone's favorite cartoon mascot to your Yeld games! What, you've never heard of Halloween Cat? The beloved star of Halloween Cat saves Christmas, Halloween Cat vs the Space Lizards and Halloween Cat III: The Cat Came Back... for Revenge? They don't show any of these animated classics on tv where you live? That's so weird.
